What made you start teaching fitness/at FlowCorps?
Hey there! I'm Davante, your fun-loving fitness instructor who’s all about making every workout an adventure. After facing some health issues, I jumped back into the fitness game with a new approach—one that bridges my passion for fitness with a keen awareness of the mind-body connection. That’s when I found my home at Flowcorps!
What is your favorite part of teaching?
As an instructor, my absolute favorite moment in class is watching students push through a challenging movement. That moment when they decide to keep going despite the pain or fatigue is pure magic. It’s a game-changer, showing them that they can conquer anything!
What is your favorite exercise & why?
Oh, this is a tough one! I love teaching the deadlift and a killer oblique movement like a twisted body saw or ab roller. What ties these moves together is the precision they demand from myself and the student. As an instructor, I make sure to set my students up perfectly and provide the right cues to ensure they’re moving safely and efficiently. Plus, I keep the energy high to help them power through, even when they’re feeling the burn! My goal? To make my students stronger and more confident in their everyday movements! LFG!
What is your teaching style?
I would describe my teaching style as multi-faceted! I love a good full-body workout. What I can assure you of is my ability to help you move to the rhythm. I love telling a fun joke, talking pop culture, or just breathing heavily on the mic... Jk! Either way, you'll love to hate me after a class!
What would a typical playlist of yours include?
Beyoncé!
