Meet Kate

What made you start teaching fitness/at FlowCorps?

I found Pilates after looking for a way to crosstrain while marathon training. Since then, I’ve seen the high intensity, low impact workout help me continue to move through prenatal/postpartum two times over. I started teaching at a FlowCorps as a way to share my love for movement for ALL clients. 

What is your favorite part of teaching?

The clients! I love seeing the growth of a client who feels stronger, functional, and creates a deeper sense of how the body moves.

What is your favorite exercise & why?

The carriage lunge. :) The carriage lunge is probably the most difficult lunge to conquer because of the stability and balance through your core, glutes, and hamstrings. You can modify or add in so many progressions to this exercise. 

What is your teaching style?

Endurance based but doable. Just when you’re ready to be out of a move it’s usually 1-2 more reps and you’re done. 

What would a typical playlist of yours include?

Mostly house music with a few throwback rap songs.
