Meet Kay

What made you start teaching fitness/at FlowCorps?

I started teaching at Flowcorps because pilates has been a huge part of my life since I was 10. I initially picked it up to cross-training for figure skating. After my skating career, I’ve dealt with many of ankle and hip issues. Flowcorps helped me stay strong and healthy enough to run a marathon. Plus, I love working out to the beat of the music!

What is your favorite part of teaching?

What I love most about teaching at Flowcorps is helping people realize they can do hard things. It’s amazing to see the moment a move finally clicks. Watching clients grow more confident each class is the best!

What is your favorite exercise & why?

Power lunge and side-lying leg sweep because no matter how many times I do them, I always get shaky.

What is your teaching style?

My teaching style is all about being intentional and to the point. I aim to explain the "why" behind each movement, so clients can make the workout their own and challenge themselves effectively.
