Classes at FlowCorps Oceanside
We offer mat-based formats. Each class is 50 minutes and taught by instructors trained in the FlowCorps method.
-
Mat Pilates: in a room heated between 93°F to 100°F. The heat helps your muscles loosen so you can move deeper into each exercise. Expect slow, controlled work through your core, hips, and spine, and a good sweat. Bring water.
-
Unheated Mat Pilates: The same method in a room kept at 75°F to 82°F. A strong choice for your first class, a day you want to focus on form, or anyone who prefers to keep cool. Every exercise has options, and your instructor will walk you through them.
-
Mat Strength: Pilates foundations with added strength work, built around a step. You'll work with a Bala Beam, Bala Ring, Bala Bangles, heavy weights, and resistance bands. Expect more pace, more resistance, and a class that changes from week to week. The room is kept at 75°F to 82°F. Mat Strength is new to California, and Oceanside is one of the first places to experience it.
Why Pilates?
Pilates makes you stronger without wearing you down. The work is slow and precise, mostly through your core, hips, and spine, so you leave feeling taller and steadier, not wrecked. That's why it fits so well with life on the coast. It's strength that shows up on a paddle out, a long run on the Oceanside Strand, or a full day on your feet. And because it's low impact, it works alongside whatever else you do. Mostly, it's 50 minutes with good music and an instructor who's watching your form. People walk out in a better mood than they walked in. The class ends. The feeling doesn't.
