Starting something new should feel exciting, not overwhelming. Whether you're brand new to Pilates or just new to FlowCorps, we've got everything you need to walk in feeling ready. Here's what to know before your first visit to FlowCorps San Diego.

Our San Diego studio is located within The Forum shopping center, on the second level above Vuori and Urban Outfitters. We serve clients from Oceanside, Encinitas, Solana Beach, Carlsbad, Vista, and surrounding communities. Parking
The Forum offers ample complimentary parking throughout the shopping center. We recommend giving yourself a few extra minutes on your first visit so you can find the studio, settle in, and arrive relaxed and ready for class.
When Should I Arrive?
Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your first class.
This give you time to meet your instructor, answer any questions, and help you get familiar with the equipment before class begins. If another class is still finishing up when you get here, come on in and make yourself comfortable. We'll be with you as soon as the room is ready.
What Should I Bring to My First Pilates Class?
To help you feel prepared for your first visit, here are a few things you'll want to bring with you:
- Grip socks for Reformer Pilates classes. These are required for classes are available for purchase in the studio, starting at $16 per pair
- A water bottle
- Comfortable workout clothes you can move in
- If you're taking Mat Pilates, please bring a mat. Don't have one? No problem, we have mats available to rent in the studio for $4.
Studio Amenities
To help make your visit as comfortable as possible, we offer:
- Lockers for your personal belongings
- Water refill stations
- Retail items available for purchase
FlowCorps is a phone-free studio experience. We encourage you to disconnect from distractions and be fully present during your workout. To help create the best experience for everyone in the room, we ask that phones be stored away during class.
We are also a cash-free business and accept all major credit cards and Apple Pay.
New to Pilates? You're in the Right Place
Many of our clients walk through the doors for their first Pilates class with little or no experience. That's completely normal, and it's exactly what our team is here for. Our instructors provide guidance and modifications in every class, so you can always work at the level that feels right for you.
What Classes Are Offered at FlowCorps San Diego?
We offer three class formats, each designed for different goals and experience levels:
- CorpsFoundations: If you're new to reformer Pilates, this is the perfect place to start. CorpsFoundations introduces the reformer, teaches foundation movement patterns, and helps you build confidence before progressing into more advanced classes. You'll learn proper setup, form, and technique while getting comfortable with the equipment in a supportive environment.
- Corps45: is our signature reformer Pilates classes designed to strengthen your entire body through controlled movement, spring resistance, and intentional sequencing. You'll build core strength, improve posture, increase mobility, and develop full-body endurance in a supportive energizing environment. Whether you're brand new to reformer Pilates or have years of experience, our instructors provide guidance and modifications to help you get the most out of every class.
- Mat Pilates: combines Pilates principles with functional movement patterns to create a challenging and effective full-body workout. Using bodyweight exercise, light weights, and props, you'll improve your core strength, stability, balance, and muscular endurance while developing a deeper connection to your body. This class is approachable for beginners while offering plenty of opportunities to challenge yourself as you progress.
